Hover over for Zoom View. Here's a really nice decorator piece. It's a wheel-thrown, stoneware vase with a classic flared-neck design. The colors are particularly rich and vivid. It has deep reds over black mixed with a toasted brown raining down around the shoulder. All this is accented with a meandering ribbon of white. Colors like these can only be achieved by high-firing pottery to 2400°. This is Prairie Fire Pottery at its best.
