Tama then trims, tucks and shapes the edges, giving each its distinctive and organic look. On the bottom are clay feet padded with felt, so it can set softly on fine furniture. Colors like these can only be acheived by firing the kiln to 2400° in a delicate and elusive reduction atmosphre.
